We don't need a "working" policy, just a "new" one...

Tony Snow on Howard Kurtz's CNN show:

"KURTZ: They also said the policy is not working.

"SNOW: No, what they said is that you need a new policy."

Right. Because the first thing you do with a policy that is working is throw it away in favor of a new one.

I know I said I expected Tony Snow to lie through his teeth for the current president - it's pretty much the job description, after all. But this? This is remarkable.

This is simply crazy talk.
