That was then...

Remember, when you hear Cheney going on about Saddam Hussein and how this war is worth it, that back in 1992 this was his considered opinion:
"while everybody was tremendously impressed with the low cost of the conflict, for the 146 Americans who were killed in action and for their families, it wasn't a cheap war. And the question in my mind is, how many additional American casualties is Saddam worth? And the answer is, not that damned many."

I know, this isn't the first time it's been pointed out. But it's still true.
