Another from Cassini - from moon to moon across the rings

Cassini took this one on April 29th. From just beneath the ringplane, Cassini stares at Janus (181 kilometers, or 113 miles across) on the near side of the rings and Prometheus (102 kilometers, or 63 miles across) on the far side. We can see that the little shepherd moons are anything but round - and we can also see the precision of the rings whose shepherds they are among - and how astonishingly thin the rings are, edge on.

I know I say this a lot but - damn! Aren't these beautiful? Aren't they awe-inspiring? And don't they make you proud to be human?
