Supporting the troops by not thrusting them into Hell for crappy reasons, and by supporting them with equipment, pay, medical and pyschological treatment, and reasonable combat rotations. War profiteering. International treaties. International reputation. Poverty. AIDS. Racism. Immigration. Deficits. Loyalty winning out over competence. Etc etc etc.

Not: Flag burning. "Threats to marriage" by people who...want to get married. And poor pitiful extremely rich people (5% of the country) who want to become the hereditary untaxed plutocracy.
