Into Shadow

Saturn's rings pass into the planet's shadow, and you can see the penumbral area along the edge, where the sun is just barely visible and the edges of the shadow are soft and fuzzy. This picture is only a couple of days old... how cool is that?

Whereas this picture below is two years old, taken as Cassini approached Saturn. They say there are six moons visible (select the image for a higher-res version) - I can find three four, but maybe your eyes are better than mine. But isn't Saturn gorgeous?
