thank goodness for the internet!

My local NPR (WETA) station went all-classical yesterday. Okay, fine - I like classical. But searching through the rest of the NPR stations around - six others come in strongly - I find none - that's none - that have World Update from the BBC... I miss Dan Damon! I miss the BBC news... Morning Edition just isn't the same.

Fortunately, I can get it from the BBC web site.

Update 25 Jan: Yay! One of the other NPR stations (WAMU, if you're local) is going to start World Update Monday! (They're also going to air Prarie Home Companion! Yay!!!!!)
