And here we go...

Alexis and AlexTennessee goes up against North Carolina. Geno's picking UT - I hope he's right (and that doesn't happen very often!).

Almost two minutes into the game before the first score - free throws by Parker. 2-0.

Finally a field goal - Parker. 4-0 at 16:45.

Man. Defense is good on both sides - rebounds and turnovers.

5-0 at 15:51.

Nothing's dropping for NC, but not a lot is dropping for UT, either. Combined 1 for 22!

Finally - 14:33 on the clock at NC gets their first points. 5:2

Latta fouls Anosike, and now 7-2 at 13:45.

Fouls right and left - 2 on Parker, 2 on Latta, 2 on Pringle ... Score 7-4 12:16.

7-6 now. Shot clock violation on Bobbitt... 11:33

7-8 at 10:57 as Little gets a basket.

Sheesh. Another shot clock violation, this time Hornbuckle. 9:35. Another NC turnover. Oh, my - third foul on Latta! And a bucket by Auguste answered right away - 10-9 at 8:12.

Little gets another, 12-9 at 7:33, then Hornbuckle downcourt but misses.

Spencer a basket and fouled, a three-point play. Tied at 12, 6:49.

Anosike got the offensive rebound and sank it, 14-12, 6:22.

They're calling this a "ragged" game, and are they ever right...

Turned over, then stolen, and tied at 14, 5:31.

Pringle gets her first basket at it's 16-14, 4:42, but immediately answered by Bobbitt for three, and it's 17-16, 4:22.

Defense settled down on both sides. Tennessee can't get shots off, Carolina can't get anything to drop. It's still 17-16 with 2:45 to go.

Pringle has a one-and-one and hits them both, 18-17, 2:43.

Pringle levels Bobbitt and there's a three for McCants, answered by Bobbitt right away! 21-20.

Bobbitt hits for two, 22-21 with :08 to go. Cripes. Shot clock violation! Off a time out! But then Miller travels! One-tenth of a second!

Half time, 22-21, UT up. Whew!

Tennessee is 31-0 when leading at the half, but this game? Anything could happen.
