Easter

I got an Easter card from Dennis and Elizabeth Kucinich today. I like the sentiment (especially since the name "Easter" comes from Eostre, a Germanic goddess for whom the lunar month around the spring equinox was named (see Bede) and whose name derives from the word for dawn (see IndeEuropean root *aus). I like the sentiment; I pass it on to you, whoever you are and whatever you do or do not believe (and I apologize to my southern hemisphere readers, for whom, of course, it's autumn...)
