Reich's wonderful idea

I caught Robert Reich on NPR this morning. After mentioning how - if the bill passes - any illegal immigrant who wants to convert to legality will have to pay all his taxes, Reich suggested that this is because Americans pay their taxes to support their country. And then he suggested that anybody who hides his money in foreign banks to avoid paying taxes on it should be allowed to do so - except that he should lose his American citizenship. "Let them be citizens of the Cayman Islands, and come to the US on a visitor's visa," he said. "If they can get one."

Makes sense to me!
