Prometheus the Shaper

Prometheus ShapingI'm running out of ways to way "Wow, what a gorgeous shot!"

From just above the ring-plane, and 2.1 million kilometers (1.3 million miles) from Prometheus, Cassini takes this detailed shot of the shepherd moon as it shapes the F ring.

Compare it to this one, taken February from much higher up but a half a million kilometers closer - it's the angle that makes the difference, I guess.
