Tangled Bank

tangled bank logoThe oldest scientific carnival - Tangled Bank - is up at Fish Feet. Much more than molecular evolution or anthropology is here - it runs the gamut from science in general through ecology, agriculture, and genetics.

Check it out.

But not computer science: they've rejected (more accurately, ignored) any submissions I've given them. Maybe they don't consider that to be "science"; I have to admit that I'm often not so sure myself.

Well, they do say "The subject should be on biology, medicine, or natural history" on their home page...

You could try the Carnival of Mathematics ...

Right, they say that, but when they plump for submissions they usually say, as you do "Science in general."

I don't really think Mathematics is the right place either. And I see that someone had tried to start one for computer science quite some time ago and it seems not to've taken off.

Doesn't really matter. I don't need to have that stuff in a carnival. I just thought it interesting that "computer science" doesn't seem to qualify as "science", is all.
