Obama joins the club?

janinsanfran posts at Happening here? on Barack Obama's disappointing signing-on to the neocon's Iran Next agenda.

Not that Obama is a neocon, of course - at least, I don't think he is, but he's falling for the lies. Since May of 2003, when Bush dismissed the Iranians' overtures out of hand, the administration has been eying them as the next target. Lately we've been seeing briefings, speeches, and "news items" which are frighteningly familiar to those we saw in 2002.

Now, Hillary Clinton has long been hawkish (as well as a proponent of the imperial presidency), but it's distressing to see Obama jumping on the bandwagon.
