So what? Big Deal.

“It was an unidentified flying object, OK? It's, like, it's unidentified. I saw something.”

Now, if that "makes your heart sink", so be it. Vote for someone whose delusions will get millions killed as she (or he) charges into war with Iran and hangs for dear life onto the expanded powers of the presidency.

I'm sticking with Dennis.

That didn't bother me a bit. It's actually a variation on a line I've often used.

Q: Do you believe in UFO's?
A: Sure. UFO simply means "unidentified flying object" and I think that's exactly what they are - unidentified.

I like Dennis and fully understand your attraction to him. I'm not a Democrat (nor Republican!) but my wife is and I've often told her that Dennis spells it out better than any other Dem candidate. That said, I don't think he's going to get the nod from your party and think he would have the most difficult time in the general election of any of the Dems. Then again, if after 8 years of this non-sense the American people wouldn't accept ANY Dem as their leader, then we might as well abandon all hope for reason - even for sanity itself.

I have to agree - he most likely will not get the nomination. But we need to have him in the race, saying things that otherwise wouldn't get said. If not, all we'll get is a race to the center and an attempt to be Republican Lite - and that gets us nowhere we (or I) want to be!

I'm with you 100% on that. Voices like Kucinich are vital to the dialogue. I'd like to see Gore at least vocally participate in diaglogue, even if he doesn't get directly in to the race. He could be a terrific gadfly to the campaign. When it comes to the general election, he (and Dennis) should be major faces on the campaign trail. I'd especially like to see Russ Feingold out there.

In 2001, Feingold was the lone Senator who voted against the USA Patriot Act, despite pressure for a unanimous vote. He voted against the Iraq War in 2002, and was the first senator to call for a specific timetable for US exit from Iraq. On March 13, 2006, he called for censure of President Bush for illegal wiretapping of Americans.

"Run Russ Run!" was my motto for a while. I wish he would ... I understand why he's not.
