"Freedom requires religion"
A big lie from Mitt Romney:
Freedom requires religion just as religion requires freedom. Freedom opens the windows of the soul so that man can discover his most profound beliefs and commune with God. Freedom and religion endure together, or perish alone.Freedom does not require religion. Since when is "communing with God" part of freedom? Is that singular "God" necessary? If so, since when did Buddhists, Hindus, pantheists, animists, and pagans lose the right to be free? And even if not, since when did atheists, agnostics, apatheists, and other freethinkers lose the right to be free? Heck, according to Romney we don't even have the ability to be free.
This man is a bad choice for president on many counts. His relentless religiosity is only one of them
But boy howdy, is it a big one.
