Good riddance to bad rubbish

Yay! The cynically named "Protect America Act" is dead. Pelosi and Hoyer got the House on its feet instead of its back (or knees).

Write or call and congratulate them, and tell them to keep it up. Write or call your Representative and congratulate (or chide, as appropriate), and tell them to keep (or start) guaranteeing America's actual protection - the protection of what makes us a different country, worth protecting.

And make sure your Senators know how unhappy you are that the Senate caved (again).

(And don't forget that Obama voted to kill the act, while Clinton couldn't be bothered to stand up and be counted.)
