There are still progressives running for office

Even though the most progressive choices for president have already been forced out by slanted corporate media coverage and non-coverage, we still can make a real difference by supporting progressive candidates for Congress in critical winnable races.

John Laesch got 40% of the vote against the powerful incumbent Dennis Hastert in the last general election in IL-14. Hastert saw the handwriting on the wall and ducked out the door last month. But John Laesch is very much in the running right now again. Check out his new radio spot.

John Laesch Radio Spot: http://www.usalone.com/donations_laesch.php

John is emerging is a national leader on progressive issues. In just the last couple weeks he has sponsored action pages against telecom immunity, for emergency paper ballot assistance, and for net neutrality, which have generated tens of thousands of constituent messages to members of Congress. John is a Navy veteran who wants to bring the troops home now, is for fair trade, not free trade, and supports health care for all.

If you can make a donation to help John run more the radio spots like this one, John not only has a fighting chance to be the Democratic nominee, he could actually be sitting in Congress by March. Please go to the page above to hear what John has to say, and if you feel inspired to make a contribution now, just submit the form to make either an ActBlue or mail in donation.
