Light and Shadow

Cassini got this truly spectacular shot from above the rings, just over a million miles away from the planet. Two moons are visible - the F ring shepherds Prometheus (bottom right inside the ring) and Pandora (upper left outside it), though Pandora, somewhat smaller, is very hard to see. Saturn shines through the rings at lower left, while its shadow slices across the rings at the upper left. Gorgeous.
