Mammoth. Sabretooth. What's the difference?

Leave it to John at archy to spot this. I can't resist sharing it.

MSNBC does a piece on 10000 BC and other prehistoric films - leading with this picture and caption:

10000 BC poster
A woolly mammoth looks for a meal in Roland Emmerich's "10,000 B.C."
John says
"I haven't seen the film yet, but I'll bet the mammoth isn't planning to eat the cave man. Since the mammoth appears to have a spear stuck in its side, I'll bet it was the cave man who was looking for a meal."
But, hey - the mammoth was probably out looking for a meal. It's just that this stupid cave-man came along and stuck his oar - er, spear - in.
