Yuri's Night
Today the world celebrates Yuri's Night, in honor of Yuri Gagarin's 1961 space flight.
"Yuri's Night is like the St Patrick's Day or Cinco de Mayo for space. It is one day when all the world can come together and celebrate the power and beauty of space and what it means for each of us. Join us!"
Find one near you and join the celebration.

According to some sources, Yuri Gagarin radioed a sarcastic comment: "I don't see any god up here."
That's a nice story, whether it's true or not.
