At a press conference [Tusday] morning... There were no questions about Bush's role in his administration's torture policy -- but there was lots of joshing around with reporters. There was also yapping about ANWR, despite the fact that drilling there would be useless to meet the current crisis - or any crisis for ten years in any substantive way. "It's even made more difficult by entities like Hamas who insist upon lobbing rockets into Israel."
"But Hamas is -- when you're Israel and you've got people lobbing rockets into your country, you're going to take care of business."
"But you've got to ask, why is Hamas lobbing rockets?"
And that is one reason they should ask substantive questions more often. To reveal the poverty of the ideas running our country.
