TV: Nova - cuttlefish. Wow. Doctor Who - I am loving Donna more every episode. When she said "That poor footman - Roger dead and he can't even mourn. 1926 - more like the Dark Ages" I wanted to cheer. Playing "count the titles" was fun, too. And the US Open - an 18-hole playoff tomorrow between Tiger and Rocco.

Read: Three Bags Full - a murder mystery from the viewpoint of a flock of sheep. Yeah - but it works. The Beetle, an occult fin de siécle novel set in London, nice and creepy. Tamora Pierce's Protector of the Small quartet and Circle of Magic - lent me by a friend who thought I'd enjoy them. I did, and now I'll have to hunt up her other stuff.
