The Week in Entertainment
Film: Hancock, which I enjoyed a lot. The premise was intriguing and Will Smith was excellent in the role. Sure, there's a flaw in the ending - if you insist on having your movies wrapped up with no questions left over (which I don't, by the way) - but it's well worth your money. Also Get Smart, which was absolutely hysterical. Much funnier than I thought it would be, and with just the right amount of homage to the original (Starker, this is KAOS. We don't ka-freaking-boom here!). Steve Carell was brilliant.
DVD: A couple of Charlie Chans (in Paris, Egypt, Shanghai. Warner Oland is definitely better than Sydney Toler.
TV: A few Twilight Zone eps on the SciFi Channel's marathon.
Read: Tamora Pierce's The Immortals quartet, and What's So Funny, another terrific Dortmunder novel.
