The Week in Entertainment
Film: The X-Files: I Want to Believe. I rather enjoyed this. It was a bit slow, if you like, but thoughtful is another words you could use. Seeing Mulder and Scully again was like picking up with some old friends after a dozen or more years. If you weren't a big fan (or if the last year was your favorite) this might not be your cup of tea.
DVD: Charlie Chan at Monte Carlo, most notable for that odd preposition, but not a bad movie.
TV: Not much, really. The Olympic opening ceremony, what must have been a special Vicar of Dibleyin which she gets married. The Jeopardy! Tournament of Champions, the last night of which got pre-empted for the Olympic thing (damn), and some gymnastics. And the PGA third day - go, Sergio!
Read: Sister Pelagia and the Black Monk, which was (as usual for Akunin) very good.
