A while back I asked how it can be so hard to see cardinals, given that they're, you know, bright red? The Exterminator kindly - I would say "reminded me", but I hadn't known it before - that female cardinals also sing, which made it a lot easier to accept not being able to see them. But no such comfort attends the inability to see these guys. Three days in a row I heard them screaming in the trees. Finally they showed up! Only one came close, but I got them both. I do love these guys - so sharp and brilliant.
