Hey, rogue states! That's not an insult!

Sarah Palin thinks the Troopergate report exonerated her (it didn't). But there's more:

And asked how she felt about having called Walt Monegan, a widely respected public servant, a "rogue", she replied: "'Rogue' isn't a negative term."

I'm sure that places like Iran and North Korea are glad to hear that. It makes the GOP's foreign policy declarations much less threatening. Maybe Palin thinks that's why Madeleine Albright's SD decided to drop the term, too - although that decision was actually a concession that the policy of demonizing countries and imposing sanctions on them had proven a failure in geopolitical and strategic terms.

One does have to admire Palin's ability to cheerfully construct her own reality. But that doesn't mean I want to live in it.
