Hey, rogue states! That's not an insult!
Sarah Palin thinks the Troopergate report exonerated her (it didn't). But there's more:

It makes the GOP's foreign policy declarations much less threatening. Maybe Palin thinks that's why Madeleine Albright's SD decided to drop the term, too - although that decision was actually a concession that the policy of demonizing countries and imposing sanctions on them had proven a failure in geopolitical and strategic terms.
One does have to admire Palin's ability to cheerfully construct her own reality. But that doesn't mean I want to live in it.
