Okay, maybe
Apparently that woman did in fact say to McCain that Obama is "an Arab terrorist". This makes his response to her - No, ma'am, he's a decent family man" - much better. In fact, it makes it a pretty good answer. (Or, wait, maybe she only said that later, not while talking to him. What difference does it make? We all know that "Arab" equals "terrorist" to her ilk, and we know why.)
But I still think that when a candidate for president has run a campaign which relentlessly demonizes his opponent, it's a sad day when you're asked to give him respect for saying out loud that the other man - a senator, a candidate for president - is not a terrorist.
But that said, I probably won't come back to this issue one way or another. There are more important things to point out about McCain.
