Texting their way to trouble?
This is priceless (from Nebraska TV):
Texing has become a part of everyday life for central Nebraska teens, but this popular pastime may prove detrimental in the classroom. The entire thing is four paragraphs (five sentences) long, and there's at least one mistake in every paragraph.
"It is frustrating to me to have to correct this stuff that should be second nature," said Andy Chadek, a freshman english teacher at Kearney High School.
"It appears in the english pappers I grade. I often have to go back to basic spelling and grammar lessons," said Chadek.
English Teacher and Speach Coach Mary Alice Konz says the key to correcting this problem is to "reinforce the principals."

Who cares if freshman are texing each other during speach class? They'll still be able to get jobs at newspappers.
You've got to be kidding me. I'm not sure if I can believe that such a beautiful example of McKean's Law is produced unwittingly. It's just... too awesome.
But I'll have more faith in the universe if it's true.
As far as I can tell, it's genuine. A thing of beauty.
Silly reporter. It's "txting," not "texing."
