Drowsing
The geese are back. Although, considering the huge flocks I've seen grazing in the ag station fields over the winter, I've reconsidered. I used to think this pair came from somewhere closer than the other pair, the ones who don't arrive till late in April. Now I don't. Or rather, I do, but I think they come from here, overwintering in Maryland and not migrating from far away. But whatever, here they are, sleeping on the pond just like they did just fly in...
