Final Four - Game 1

louisvilleFinal FourWell, the first half it looked like Louisville had finally gotten doubts. They did not play well at all, a very lopsided game. But the second half has been all Cardinals so far. The Sooners have to play very hard and very well these next ten minutes - only a one point difference.

(And of course this is the first game. I want to watch the Stanford-UConn game, but I have to get up at five. Dammit.)

Tremendous play over those ten minutes - back and forth, very close. And then Louisville took the lead - never a big one - and never let go. 19 and a half seconds to go, Sooners ball, down by three... Looks like they're going for two - Louisville won't let them shoot for three - Parrish got it, and then a quick foul. Man.

Bingham at the free throw line, down by one with one point six seconds on the clock. What might have been a blowout is very close. Bingham gets one, missed the second one - Stevenson goes for three and it rims out! My gosh. 60-59, Louisville.

Wow.
