The Week in Entertainment

Film: Went to see Star Trek again. Yeah. It's that much fun.

DVD: Charlie Chan on Broadway - though it's more like Charlie Chan in New York because Why Not? but it was still an entertaining mystery flick. Stargate Atlantis with a friend who'd never seen it. I Robot and In and Out ditto. That last is really a funny movie, by the way. And the annual Big Trouble in Little China party!

TV: Not much, but did watch the AT&T National, as well as an afternoon of Perry Mason movies, with three different actors in the key roles, and very strange interpretations. I mean, in one Paul Drake was an idiot, in one Perry was married to Della Street, and in one he was a drunk. Seriously: in The Case of the Lucky Legs we meet him passed out on his office floor. Sure, he's supposed to be all Nick Charlesy, but this is Perry Mason for crying out loud!

Read: Hardly anything. About a quarter of The Black Book ... but this week promises to be less jam-packed, so I should get some reading actually done.
