Pray for Haiti

That's what the guy was calling out this morning as he offered us newspapers at the Metro station.

Look, by all means, if you want to pray for Haiti, go right ahead.

Just don't let it stop there. Give. Your time, if you're in the right profession and can go. Food. Blankets. Supplies. And money. Doctors Without Borders is my choice, but there are others. Like the Red Cross, or Global Fund for Women, or Mercy Corps, or the World Food Program. Or one that appeals to you personally.

Just remember: if all you do is pray, you're doing nothing. And Jesus would agree.
