Read: Finished Noah's Compass, which is all the good things that Anne Tyler's novels are. I loved it. The Stalin Epigram, a novel about Osip Mandelstam and his fatal anti-Stalin poem. Brilliant and heart-wrenching. Began The City & The City, which is growing more convoluted and more compelling the further I get.
