A few birds
The summer has been crazy, and except for starlings and pigeons I haven't seen many birds, either. But here are a few, just because it's been too long.
A robin in the early dawn
A mockingbird struts in the early dawn
And another catches some rays
This male sat high over some bushes where a female and juveniles ducked through branches, click-calling to each other, and whistled up the sun.
A ruby-throated hummingbird gets some breakfast at Rocky Gap
This gray catbird was also at Rocky Gap
As was this mallard, with the striking white head, standing in the shallow water of Lake Habeeb.
