Three Bs
Tomorrow morning I set out on part two of the trip (the journey back) so I'm leaving you with a few birds and butterflies and a bunny from Maryland, in no particular order
A calling redwing silhouetted against the afternoon sky
A juvenile cardinal, scruffy from molting into his adult plumage
A male grackle seeking shade
A male tiger swallowtail on a mimosa
A mockingbird doing the walk-and-flash-his-wings thing
A different male redwing in a willow
A bunny with a white star on his face
Two fiery skippers
A spicebush swallowtail on a thistle
The younger family of geese (the older ones have already left)
A song sparrow and an eastern kingbird share a tree
A pair of yellow-shafted flickers hunting through the landscape cover
