Fool me once...
Sen. John McCain wasn't happy with the president's speech.
“It was a fine speech, but I didn’t hear any conciliatory remarks,” McCain told the [NY} Times. “I didn’t see any specific reference like, ‘I reach out my hand to the other side of the aisle.’”Gosh, I didn't either. I wonder why that was? I mean, the new Congress is already in session. Just how do you think he'd draw back that reached-out hand? Merely bloody, or actually bitten off?
