Without the translator...
John Scalzi tells us that his novel The Android's Dream has won a Seiun Award. I really like that novel, so I'm glad to see it getting more recognition. But I love this, too:
I have asked to share this Seiun Award with the Japanese translator, Masayuki Uchida (内田昌之). Without him, the novel wouldn’t have won this award in the first place. I figure it’s a fair share.Yes! Scalzi gets it.
